Missing Scientists and the Suspicious Timing of UFO Document Releases
As the Pentagon began releasing batches of declassified UFO/UAP documents in 2025–2026, a disturbing wave of deaths and disappearances hit the scientific and defense community. Multiple researchers and engineers with ties to advanced propulsion, materials science, aerospace, and related fields have died or vanished under questionable circumstances.
Coincidence? Or are people with sensitive knowledge being silenced as the truth about non-human intelligence starts coming out?
The Strongest Cases: McCasland and Reza
William Neil McCasland (Missing – February 27, 2026)
Retired Air Force Major General and former commander of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. He disappeared while hiking near Albuquerque, New Mexico. He left his phone and fitness tracker behind but took his wallet and handgun. His wife believes he planned to disappear, but many find the timing highly suspicious given his high-level oversight of advanced aerospace projects.
Monica Jacinto Reza (Missing – June 2025)
Director of the Materials Processing Group at Aerojet Rocketdyne with strong NASA JPL connections. She worked on advanced materials projects funded by AFRL Wright-Patterson — the same facility McCasland once commanded. Their professional timelines overlapped between 2011–2013. Her disappearance added significant fuel to the theory that individuals with knowledge of exotic technology are being targeted.

Other Scientists and Researchers
Here are additional cases that have raised eyebrows in the UFO community:
- Ning Li – Prominent anti-gravity researcher. Died from Alzheimer’s disease at age 78.
- Amy Eskridge – Anti-gravity researcher and enthusiast. Ruled a suicide.
- Michel David Hicks – Former scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Cause of death listed as heart disease.
- Matthew Sullivan – USAF personnel. Ruled a suicide.
- Carl Grillmair – Scientist working on infrared telescopes at Caltech/IPAC (tied to NASA JPL). Cause of death: homicide.
- Frank Maiwald – Top scientist involved in detecting signs of alien life. Deceased.
- Nuno Loureiro – Nuclear fusion researcher. Cause of death: homicide.
- Jason Thomas – Pharmaceutical researcher. Ruled a drowning, though his wife stated he was depressed at the time.
- Melissa Casias – Administrative Assistant at Los Alamos National Lab (tied to AFRL Kirtland AFB). Missing.
- Anthony Chavez – Former employee of Los Alamos National Lab (until 2017). Missing.
- Joshua LeBlanc – Engineer at NASA Flight Center. Cause of death: car accident.
- David Wilcock – Well-known UFO researcher and frequent guest on Ancient Aliens. Found dead on April 20, 2026, officially ruled a suicide despite prior public warnings about suicide.
The Common Thread
What ties many of these individuals together is access to highly classified information — advanced propulsion, exotic materials, anti-gravity research, nuclear fusion, and projects connected to Wright-Patterson AFB, NASA JPL, and Los Alamos. Several had indirect or direct links to programs that overlap with UAP research and reverse-engineering efforts.
The timing is what makes this especially suspicious. These incidents have clustered during the exact period when the government has been forced to release more UFO/UAP documents.
Questions That Demand Answers
Why are so many people connected to cutting-edge technology and defense research dying or disappearing right as major UAP disclosures are happening?
Is it really just a tragic coincidence? Or are we seeing a pattern of silencing those who know too much about non-human intelligence and recovered technology?
President Trump reportedly commented on some of these cases approximately two months ago, stating “we may know something in another week.” As of now, no major public updates have been released by federal authorities linking these missing scientist to UAP programs.
Even Congressman Tim Burchett has publicly stated he doesn’t believe David Wilcock’s death was a coincidence.
Final Thoughts
The pattern is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. As more UAP files come out, the body count and missing persons list continue to grow. Whether these cases are directly connected to UFO knowledge or not, the optics are extremely suspicious and deserve serious, independent investigation.
We the public deserve real answers — not more convenient explanations and closed cases.
What do you think? Are these incidents purely coincidental, or is something much more sinister at play as the truth about UFOs slowly emerges?
