Extraterrestrial Personal Theories

My Extraterrestrial Personal Theories: Aliens, Angels, Demons, and the Spiritual Dimension of UFOs

Extraterrestrial Personal Theories

I am a believer in a supreme Creator, raised primarily in Christian beliefs and culture. This background naturally shapes how I interpret the world around me. While I deeply respect science and empirical evidence, I also see profound spiritual realities at work in the universe. For many years I have pondered a central question: If extraterrestrial beings or interdimensional entities are real, is there a meaningful connection between them and the spiritual truths described in religion — particularly Christianity?

I suspect the answer is yes. Below I explore my personal theories on the possible links between alien existence and religion.

The Plural “Heavens” in Genesis 1:1

One verse that has always stood out to me is Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Notice the word is plural — “heavens.” When we look into the night sky, we see countless stars and galaxies stretching across unimaginable distances. Some of the light we see today comes from stars that no longer exist, due to the vast time it takes for light to travel.

This suggests a creation far more vast and complex than just our single planet. Could some of these “heavens” refer not only to the physical cosmos but also to other dimensions or spiritual realms? Many ancient cultures described multiple layers of heaven. If extraterrestrial or interdimensional beings exist, they may originate from one of these other “heavens” created by the same God who made our world.

Aliens as Angels or Demonic Entities?

If interdimensional beings are real, is it possible that some are angelic while others are demonic? This idea has been explored by many thinkers. The Bible frequently describes angels descending from heaven, sometimes appearing in human-like form (Genesis 18, Hebrews 13:2). It also warns of fallen angels and demonic forces engaged in spiritual conflict (Ephesians 6:12).

Some modern researchers and experiencers have noted striking parallels. “Nordic” aliens — often described as tall, blonde, human-like beings — resemble traditional depictions of benevolent angels. In contrast, some reported Greys and other entities exhibit behaviors that feel manipulative or oppressive, leading some to wonder if they represent fallen or demonic influences.

Well-known ufologist John Keel (author of The Mothman Prophecies) argued that many UFO phenomena are not extraterrestrial but “ultraterrestrial” — demonic or shape-shifting intelligences operating from another dimension. Similarly, Jacques Vallée, one of the most respected researchers in the field, moved away from the simple “extraterrestrial” hypothesis toward an interdimensional control system that shares many traits with historical religious and folkloric encounters.

Recent claims from former government officials mentioning multiple alien races, including “Nordics,” add weight to these questions. If these beings exist, are they all working toward the same goal? Or could there be spiritual conflict playing out around us? For a broader look at the different theories, see our page on The Main Theories Behind UFOs.

Humans as Vessels for Souls

One theory I encountered suggests that certain alien beings view humans as “vessels for souls” or “containers.” This idea appears in accounts associated with Bob Lazar and has been discussed by researchers like Linda Moulton Howe and John Lear. They describe extraterrestrials referring to humans as containers in which souls mature or are housed for experience.

This concept resonates deeply with Christian theology, which teaches that humans are created in God’s image with an eternal soul (Genesis 1:27, 2:7). If extraterrestrials exist, some may be studying or interacting with us primarily because of our spiritual nature — our capacity to house immortal souls — rather than just our physical bodies or technology.

Subterranean Realms and References to Hell

Some accounts and ancient traditions speak of beings living underground or in hidden bases. Could this connect to biblical references to “the depths,” the abyss, or even hell? The Bible mentions entities confined to lower realms (2 Peter 2:4, Revelation 9). While highly speculative, it is intriguing to consider whether some reported underground phenomena could have spiritual significance beyond simple physical hideouts.

The Madonna with Saint Giovannino Painting

One of the most compelling historical images is the 15th-century painting The Madonna with Saint Giovannino. In the background, a man stands on a riverbank shielding his eyes while gazing at a clear disc-shaped object in the sky emitting rays of light. Art historians typically explain this as a stylized depiction of divine light or the Holy Spirit. However, the specificity of the object and the man’s reaction make me wonder if some artists were recording genuine anomalous events they witnessed but interpreted through their religious worldview.

Why So Many Different Types of UAP?

The incredible variety of craft reported — orbs, tic-tacs, cigar shapes, large triangles, and more — suggests multiple origins or technologies. Some appear crewed, while others behave like advanced drones. If there are indeed several alien races visiting Earth (as some whistleblowers claim), it seems unlikely they would all share the same agenda. Some may be observers or benevolent, while others could have more self-serving or even hostile intentions. The possibility of conflict between different groups — a kind of cosmic struggle — is both fascinating and sobering. See also our Top 10 Most Credible UFO Sightings for documented examples.

Broadening the Perspective: Other Views

Not all researchers see a demonic or angelic connection. Jacques Vallée proposes that the UFO phenomenon acts as a “control system” — a long-term conditioning mechanism that influences human culture and belief systems, similar to how religions have shaped societies throughout history. Others, like Dr. Michael Heiser (a biblical scholar), explore how ancient descriptions of gods, angels, and watchers might overlap with modern UFO narratives.

Some Christian thinkers, including Billy Graham in his later years, suggested that some UFO phenomena could be demonic deceptions designed to prepare humanity for end-times events. Others remain open to the possibility of physical extraterrestrials as part of God’s vast creation.

Conclusion: Faith, Humility, and Open Inquiry

I do not claim to have definitive answers. I am simply a believer in God trying to make sense of a mysterious universe. It is entirely possible that extraterrestrials, if real, are part of God’s creation — some serving as messengers of light, others operating in rebellion. The Bible tells us our struggle is not only against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12). Could some modern UFO reports be part of that larger spiritual reality?

Whether these beings are physical extraterrestrials, interdimensional entities, or something we cannot yet comprehend, I believe the ultimate truth rests with the Creator who made the heavens and the earth. My hope is that as more information emerges, it leads us not into fear or deception, but closer to understanding both the physical universe and our spiritual purpose within it.
